Established
almost twenty-nine years ago, Illinois based Pathways to Learning provides training and
support services for educational professionals
and parents locally and nationally.
A substantive part of these services are
professional development courses which have
been completed by more than 7,000 teachers.
In the last four years more than 1,250 teachers completed courses
offered by Pathways,
affording themselves of a variety of credit
options.

In addition to
summer institutes that are typically conducted in Illinois,
Pathways to Learning also
conducts staff development programs,
inservices, workshops and
mini-courses throughout
the school year. These may be
conducted locally or away from the Illinois
base in response to the needs of state,
county, and district educators.
The
brainchild of its principals, Louise Jacobs and Bernadette Herman,
Pathways to Learning provides such services across the
country from Connecticut to Hawaii.
