the elementary and secondary levels, and was a high school curriculum director and

specialized school for youths with severe behavior disorders and learning
disabilities.

Louise
augments her vast educational experiences with her private practice as a
therapist for individuals and families. Her particular
concern is to assist students with behavior problems and to work with
the school and the family to bridge communication.
|
|
Louise's signature in her on-going involvement with schools has been her
unmatched kind-firm conflict resolution skills. Similarly, she
has established a reputation as a "puzzle-solver," addressing the many
complex issues that are involved in enhancing student performance. |
|
Louise has given keynote
addresses to educators and parents and has presented at national and international conferences.
Often in
association with her colleague Bernadette Herman, she has provided
consultancy services and innumerable inservices and staff development
seminars for systems as disparate as state departments of education,
international symposia, professional organizations, individual private,
parochial, and public schools, local parent-teacher organizations and
public school K-12 districts.
